PREPARATION AND COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Product is frozen until thawed by end user.
SLACKING: For best quality, slack product before use.
Thaw for next day use by laying flat on a sheet tray in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
For a quicker method, place the pouch in a cool, running water bath for one hour.
STOVETOP: Heat grains in a sauté pan over medium heat until desired temperature, adding liquid as needed.
STEAMER: Steam uncovered for 5 minutes or until desired temperature.
COMBI/CONVECTION OVEN: Empty contents into hotel pan. Add one cup liquid to grains. Heat covered for 15 minutes or to desired temperature.
MICROWAVE: Place any portion size in a microwave-safe vessel and heat on high to desired serving temp.
