PREPARATION AND COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Rinse and sort through lentils to remove any unwanted material.
Stovetop: Bring 4 qts. water or stock to a boil. Stir in 2 lbs. Black Forest Blend, reduce heat and simmer covered for 15-17 mins., or until desired texture. Drain excess liquid and serve.
Steamer: In a full hotel pan, combine 4 qts. hot water or stock with 2 lbs. Black Forest Blend. Steam uncovered for 25-30 mins., or until desired texture. Drain excess liquid and serve.
YIELD: 26 half-cup servings.
